Terms of Service

Last updated October 23, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Qube, including the website at tryqube.dev, the Qube desktop app, the qube command-line tool and the related services (together, "Qube"). Qube is provided by Cantus Labs, Inc. ("Cantus Labs", "we", "us").

By creating an account or using Qube, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Qube.

1. Who can use Qube

You must be at least 13 years old to use Qube. If you are under 18, you may use Qube only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian, who must agree to these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for any purchases.

You must provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. One account is for one person; do not share it or create accounts to get around plan limits.

2. The service

Qube helps you build Minecraft mods, 3D models and maps with AI assistance. AI output can be wrong, incomplete or insecure, and it can resemble output produced for other people. Review and test everything Qube produces before you rely on it, publish it or distribute it.

Some features are labeled beta. They may change, break or be removed, and are provided as they are.

Qube is not an official Minecraft product and is not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft. You are responsible for following the Minecraft End User License Agreement and Mojang's usage guidelines in anything you build or share.

3. Plans, credits and billing

Qube offers a Free plan and paid plans (Builder, Architect and MasterCook), billed monthly or yearly in U.S. dollars. Current prices and what each plan includes are shown on the pricing page. Prices do not include taxes, which may be added at checkout.

Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period, at the then-current price, until you cancel. We will tell you in advance before a price change applies to your plan.

Credits are an in-app usage allowance, not money. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred or sold, and are not refundable except as described in section 4. Each plan includes credits over a rolling seven-day window. Credit packs are one-time purchases whose credits are used after your plan's weekly credits and expire 30 days after purchase. We may change how many credits a model or a request uses.

Payments are processed by Stripe. By purchasing, you authorize us and Stripe to charge your payment method for the plan or pack you choose and for renewals. If a payment fails, paid features may stop until it is resolved.

When you upgrade, the change applies right away and you are charged the prorated difference. Downgrades and other plan changes are handled as shown in the billing portal when you make them.

4. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel a paid plan at any time from your profile or Manage billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep paid features until then.

Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable. We do not refund partial billing periods, unused weekly credits, or credit packs once purchased. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at support@tryqube.dev within 30 days and we will review it; any refund is at our discretion.

If we refund a credit pack, its unused credits are removed; credits already spent stay spent. If you dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer, we may suspend paid features on your account while the dispute is reviewed.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Qube to:

  • break the law, or infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy or other rights;
  • create or distribute malware, cheats that harm other players or servers, or code meant to damage systems or collect data without permission;
  • create content that is sexual involving minors, harassing, hateful, or that promotes violence;
  • get around plan limits, credits, rate limits or security, including by using multiple accounts, sharing an account, or reselling access;
  • scrape, overload, reverse engineer or interfere with Qube or its providers, except as the law allows;
  • use Qube's output to build a competing AI model.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the mods, code, models, maps, prompts and other material you create or upload with Qube ("Your Content"). As between you and us, you also own the output Qube generates for you, subject to the rights of others and to section 2.

You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, copy and display Your Content only as needed to run, secure and improve Qube for you, including sending it to the AI model providers that process your requests.

If you list a model, map or mod publicly on the Qube marketplace, you also let other users view it and, when you allow downloads, download and use it in their own Minecraft projects. You can unlist it at any time; copies already downloaded are not affected.

You confirm you have the rights needed for Your Content. We may review, hide or remove content that breaks these Terms.

7. Third-party services

Qube relies on third parties, including AI model providers, GitHub, Stripe and our hosting providers. Their own terms may apply when you use them through Qube, for example when you connect GitHub or use the MasterCook option to bring your own Claude Code, Codex or OpenCode account. We are not responsible for third-party services.

8. Our rights

Qube, including its software, design and brand, belongs to Cantus Labs and its licensors. These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use Qube while your account is in good standing.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.

9. Suspension and termination

You can stop using Qube and delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, if required by law, or to protect Qube, other users or third parties. If we end your access without cause, we will refund the unused part of any prepaid plan period.

Sections 4, 6 (for content already licensed), 8, 10, 11 and 12 survive termination.

10. Disclaimers

Qube is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise that Qube or its output will be accurate, uninterrupted, secure or error-free.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Cantus Labs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to Qube is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$100.

You agree to indemnify Cantus Labs against claims arising from Your Content or your breach of these Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing here limits consumer rights you have under the laws where you live.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will notify you by email or in Qube before it takes effect. Continuing to use Qube after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
